The Fire and Rescue Services inTrelleborg, Sweden has decided to invest in a RescueRunner system to further strengthen their operational capability in coastal rescue operations.

In November Safe at Sea held a demo-day in Skanör-Falsterbo and The Fire and Rescue Services has since the demo-day decided to order a RescueRunner system which will be located at the rescue station in Skanör. They were looking for a rescue boat that could operate in shallow and narrow waters, where a propeller-driven boat cannot operate. After comparisons and research the RescueRunner system became their choice.

The new RescueRunner system will be used primarily for coastal rescue operations.
