The Netherlands has for a long time been regarded as a very interesting market with great potential for Safe at Sea. A new, well-established and strong distributor is now appointed and contracted as Safe at Sea's partner in the Dutch market.

The Netherlands has with its long coastline, intense marine traffic and some of Europe's largest ports a need for great environmental protection capabilities in case of pollution, floodings or natural disasters. BDS Harlingen BV who will now become Safe at Sea's distributor in this market is since many years well established in this market and experts within the environmental protection and oil/sanitary recovery industry. They are one of the largest actors in this segment and has a frame agreement with Rijkswaterstaat (Rijkswaterstaat is part of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and responsible for the design, construction, management and maintenance of the main infrastructure facilities in the Netherlands).
