GuardRunner - Goes where other boats cannot go

GuardRunner is a development from the RescueRunner. Military or Law enforcement agencies that needs a small versatile boat chooses GuardRunners. It reaches areas other boats cannot. GuardRunners unique polyethylene hull makes it extremely rugged. It also offers superb stability and soft fenders, which enables smooth and safe boarding operations.

Equipped with a mast and Auxiliary Electrical System you can carry navigational lights as well as flashing blue lights, work lights and search lights. We will also install navigational system of your choice, AIS or any other electrical equipment you wish to carry.

GuardRunner can be helicoptered, it can be easily deployed from a mother vessel and it can even be air dropped on site.

Top Features

The aft deck makes it easy to quickly get divers out of the water. There is also room for quick release equipment loading systems. A mast can be fitted with aft deck work light.

“Plug and Play” Polyethylene hull makes the GuardRunner extremely rugged. Hit rocks and hard objects repeatedly without damaging the hull. Should you anyway damage the hull, either just repair it or slide out the cartridge and you change hull in just a few minutes.

A centrally placed towing eye makes the GuardRunner strong and maneuverable when towing objects. The GuardRunner successfully tows 16 ton boats.

Estonian Police and Border Guard Board

The Estonian Police and Border Guard Board acquired ten GuardRunners for their patrol and rescue services. One of the GuardRunners is placed onboard the 64 m “Kindral Kurvits”, where a RescueRunner Cradle is used for fast and safe launch and recovery of the GuardRunner.

CICPA

The Critical Infrastructure and Coastal Protection ‎Authority (CICPA) is responsible for providing security and safety for ‎all critical infrastructure and establishments spread across Abu Dhabi. CICPA has eight RescueRunners for SAR operations.

Finnish Border Guard

The Finnish Border Guard is an internal security agency operating under the Ministry of the Interior. The Border Guard coordinates search and rescue at sea activity, performs searches and transports ill or injured persons within the area under its control. The Border Guard also performs police duties and customs controls. The Finnish Border Guard has one GuardRunner.

Italian Coast Guard

The Italian Coast Guard is one of the largest coast guard organizations in Europe. They have recently acquired their first RescueRunner for evaluation purposes. The ambition is to have RescueRunners strategically positioned on each of their stations around the Italian coast, as well as onboard their Search-and- Rescue (SAR) ships.
The RescueRunner will be used in SAR operations and patrolling.

Special Forces

We are unfortunately not able to disclose our Special Forces clients. We have sold GuardRunners to a number of Western European countries special forces. When selling to armed forces we follow the Swedish Governments recommendation on which countries to sell military equipment to.

Swedish Coast Guard

The Swedish Coast Guard works for a sustainable marine environment and the improvement of safety at sea. They operate along the entire coastline of Sweden, where they rescue, assist and monitor – around the clock, all year round with the help of aircraft, large and small vessels and also directly from the mainland.
